Site not accepting GMail address

I change only gmail to hotmail (plus some bogus username to keep my own user/email combo) and it allowed me to create this account. -mmonnin Edit: I tried changing my email and I got: New email address 'xxxxxx@gmail.com' is invalid. Try to check it here: https://www.stopforumspam.com/search I the IP listed with it there was with a VPN as it's not the IP I have now and there are email addresses listed from around the globe attached to the IP as well. Forum moderator said its basically up to forum administrators to whitelist users if they are blocked. He also said to get a new user ID. Not possible with BOINC as CPIDs are linked to emails/users. Anyone can get a hold of an email list and start spamming forums. They expect forum administrators that use the service to whitelist people instead of fixing it at the source. Nice concept of SFS but its all controlled by ONE SINGLE PERSON! I started a thread on BOINC forums to move to email registration, captcha, anti-robot clicks, etc but ageless shot it down because BOINC forums have 1 real user that spams the forum. 1 user.
