Hi there, I was getting work unit's fine the other day. Now it just says can't open log file or so from the server. Instead of getting work unit's. Plenty of work unit's on the server to.

Still getting "Can't open log file" and also 'Transient upload error"

So still can't upload any work.

Anyone having trouble posting and getting multiple postings (such as due to Gateway error)

Then all you need to do to get rid of the extra postings is go to Edit delete everything in the post then hit the Space Bar twice and then post the blank post and it will disappear.

Hi, there are no new tasks to send since this weekend and "server status" page show generator processes are not running. Is it wanted state?

I just reply to this in another thread:

"We just find out that WU generator did not generate the WU (or better, some WU are generated but not at the right rate), so WU available goes empty.

Generator is now disable until it is fixed. Then it will be activated, but all the WU not generated needs to be re-generated (this is a partial manual works, so it will need some long time).

So be sure to have other projects attached to crunch, as it is unlikely that new WU will be restored in short time"

The good news is that the manual work planned to regenerate all WU is no needed: it can be executed with a simple commands (even if it will then works for some hours to finish).

So now, all that is needed is to fix the generator. Stay tuned.

I have further increased the max buffer size from 20MB to 40MB, try now :)

when BOINC uploads all 1086 tasks at once it runs out of buffers on the reverse proxy, if it keeps persisting, I will either increase even further or it is better to set maximum upload batch to something like 500 tasks
