Your personal background.
- Manchester City have been slammed for selling
a tiny portion of fish and chips for £10 a pop.

The Premier League champions look nailed on to
regain their crown after beating Arsenal
4-1 on Wednesday
.
But fans say there is something fishy about the pre-match meal served up at the Etihad Stadium.

One snapped the small tray of cod bites, a handful of chips and a tiny pot
of mushy peas served up ahead of the clash
with the Gunners.
This child-like portion was blasted by supporters.

One fan joked the high price was to help pay for the wages of Erling Haaland (second
left)

Adrian Kesby remarked: 'Ten whole pounds for that?

'Well, I suppose they have to cover Haaland's wages somehow.'
Chris Chapman added: 'Actually looks like it would be a solid thing to eat.

'But way too small a portion at that price.'
One said: 'It's technically not fish and chips
though is it?
'It's cod nuggets/pieces and chips.

Twitter users weighed in on the portion size, and questioned if
it counted as 'fish and chips'

'And a tenner? You'd get that in any chippy for a six quid with more chips and cod pieces.'
Yet Rob Sowerby added: 'It's expensive, but City seem to knock
out some decent looking snap.'
The food was posted on the 'Footy Scran' social media account where footy fans from
around the world rate different cuisines from football grounds.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Aston Villa had served raw chicken with chips to football fans who paid £11for the privilege during their match against Fulham.
