Some parts of Portland are prone to landslides, especially the West
Hills and higher elevations on the east side.
Rain, loose fill, groundwater under streets, and other
factors can push water, mud, and debris onto city streets and damage private
property. If you live in an area known to experience
landslides, be alert, particularly during periods of heavy rain or snowmelt.

Keep ditches, culverts, and trash racks clear of debris so stormwater has somewhere
to go. See signs of a landslide that threatens public safety?

How’s it going, my friend? Listen, you know by now I’m
a huge fan of your work. You’ve been pushing some hard cold facts and truths on LinkedIn … I, so
much so, respect you for it. It hit me the other day… ’d be up to take things to the next level.
Would love to see us join forces. Use Case: This
template is best used in situations where you have already interacted with your prospect
on social media and decided to take things one step further.
By “business”, I mean all types of work-related messages.
In this section we’re going to take a look at some reminder emails that you
could send to your client, following up after a job interview, or politely reminding your team member that they’re behind schedule.

A few weeks ago, I sent in a query with a couple of feature article ideas
to write for your resource. As I mentioned earlier, I have my sources lined up for interviews and I already have my
preliminary research ready.

Regional Resilience Toolkit: 5 Steps to Build Large-Scale Resilience to Natural Disasters:
This toolkit, created through a partnership among FEMA, EPA, and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission/Association of Bay Area Governments (MTC/ABAG), helps regions plan for
disasters by working across multiple jurisdictions and with nongovernmental partners.
Smart Growth and Climate Change: Disaster resilience is
closely tied to climate change adaptation, as climate change is linked to the increasing intensity and frequency
of severe storms, heavy downpours, and wildfires in many
parts of the country, as well as higher storm surges as
sea levels rise. Visit our Publications page for a list of publications about smart growth
and disaster resilience and recovery. Visit our Smart Growth and Climate Change page for climate adaptation resources.
Visit the Adaptation Resource Center (ARC-X), an interactive resource
to help local governments effectively deliver services to their
communities even as the climate changes. Governors' Institute on Community
Design: The Governors' Institute on Community Design helps governors and their staff make informed decisions about investments and policy decisions that influence
the economic health and physical development of their states.

What are spam trigger words? Why are my emails
going to spam in Gmail? How can I check if my emails
are spam? The spam folder is every email marketer’s greatest nightmare.

One of the handiest skills you need to learn to avoid landing in the spam folder is to write better emails.
Spam folders are good things to have in general - they protect our inboxes from all the junk emails that fly
around. The problem is, spam filters don’t always get it right.

Sometimes a perfectly legitimate email can end up in the spam folder for no
obvious reason. When this happens, it can be quite frustrating and as email marketers,
it’s up to us to ensure that our email campaigns are free
from content that could be flagged up as spam. Picking the right words is crucial for this.
What are spam trigger words? Spam trigger are words or expressions that email service providers (such
as Gmail or Outlook) see as red flags.
