An Australian 'sneakerhead' has opened up about her 200-pair
collection worth $150,000 to share her favourite shoes and

fashion was all the rage encouraged her to take footwear seriously.



'I really gravitated towards menswear and Japanese
streetwear. Many of the items I coveted I couldn't find anywhere, let alone afford
to buy them at the time,' she told FEMAIL.

'I always paid attention to footwear and I remember seeing photos of Pharrell in Bapestas.
I wanted them so badly but Bape products were hard to attain and very elusive in the early 2000s.

said.

'Some people geek out on sports, this is my equivalent!
The feeling that sports fans have about an upcoming match is
the way I feel about a new drop.'

In recent years both men and women have been swapping dressier shoe styles for sneakers
and visiting websites like StockX to add to their collections.

They have become a staple footwear choice for those wanting to look
fashionable and feel comfortable at the same time.
