When someone has diabetes, it is important that they test their blood glucose levels on a regular basis.
Knowing what their healthy level is and noticing any changes could give them an important head start on controlling any issues
that may arise. Testing the levels of glucose in the blood is very easy
and can be done at home with simple tools.
Here is the simple fact of the matter: Diabetes if not properly controlled is an unpleasant and
dangerous disease. It can lead to amputations, blindness,
kidney failure, heart attack and more. Yet how many
clinicians are clearly explaining the reality of these terrible outcomes to their patients, if the patient does not
get their diabetes under control?
