Your personal background.
If the 'motor' isn't serviced regularly it just chugs along making more and more 'noise', giving off a lot of
'smoke', losing 'power',' chewing up gas', working inefficiently and eventually grinding to a halt.
We recognize this decline in performance as headaches, poor sleep, lack of energy,
crook gut, getting fatter, type 2 diabetes..
Hypertension is just one of many indicators of a body under stress
and in poor condition. The Gran Turismo has turned into a clunker.

In the meantime stay tuned, highly tuned and do what
comes naturally to get your blood pressure back into the normal range.

When time allows for it, sleep in! Also, paying attention to proper sleep hygiene is imperative.

Work or other projects should be left in another room and the
bedroom should be dark, cool, quiet and free of distractions such as blaring
televisions. We have heard that laughter is the best
medicine and it does in fact increase parasympathetic activity (the "rest and digest"
branch of the nervous system). Of course any activity that brings joy or peace is beneficial and
stress reducing, so make a point to spend some time doing what you love.
